Impressive pine-covered mountains surround the lake, creating a stunning backdrop of tranquility. There you'll have some free time to explore the lake at your own pace. During this time, you can swim in the lake, rich in minerals beneficial for your skin, or simply take a walk and enjoy the breathtaking scenery. Salda is a marvel of nature with unparalleled natural beauty. Salda Lake is surrounded by quiet, untouched nature. The impressive pine-covered mountains create a truly unique and perfect backdrop.
Pamukkale – a true gem of Turkey
After visiting Salda Lake, we'll head from Pamukkale via Marmaris on a comfortable bus – to one of Turkey's most famous sites. The first thing to explore upon arrival is the Cotton Castle. This snow-white mountain, also known as the "Calcium Terraces", amazes visitors with its size and beauty. Along the edges of this calcium mountain are naturally shaped terraces filled with thermal water. The Cotton Castle attracts thousands of visitors each year who wish to swim on the terraces and enjoy the water's healing properties.
This site is also known as the ancient city of Hierapolis. You'll have the opportunity to explore the ruins of the settlement and learn about its history. Among other things, you'll be able to see the ancient theater, the necropolis, and the Roman baths.
During free time, you can visit another famous spot in the area – Cleopatra's Pool. This ancient thermal pool is a complex of several thermal springs known for relieving bone and muscle pain. At the end of your free time, you'll return to the bus. The trip from Pamukkale back to Marmaris takes about 3 hours.
