Travel through time in a single day: start among the temples and palaces of old Siam, then finish on the river beneath the glittering skyline of modern Bangkok. This excursion blends history, sightseeing and a relaxed evening out.
The morning is spent at Muang Boran, also known as Ancient Siam, in Samut Prakan. Spread over more than 90 hectares, this vast open-air museum showcases replicas and reconstructions of landmarks inspired by Thailand, Laos, Myanmar and Cambodia. We tour the grounds by bus, stopping at the highlights while the guide shares the stories behind them, including the mysterious giant fish temple and the village of elders.
In the evening we head to ICONSIAM on the Chao Phraya River for a dinner cruise with a buffet and live music, followed by sweeping night views of the city.
