Hua Hin, on the western shore of the Gulf of Thailand, has been the summer retreat of the Thai royal family since the 1920s. With its working royal palace, tidy streets and long beaches, it feels calm and refined compared with lively Pattaya.
Over two days you will visit giant Buddha statues, a ship-shaped temple and temples hidden inside caves, enjoy the best viewpoint over the town and stroll its night market. The highlight comes on day two in Khao Sam Roi Yot National Park, the "Park of Three Hundred Peaks", where sunlight pours through the collapsed roof of the vast Phraya Nakhon cave onto a royal pavilion.
The path to Phraya Nakhon cave is a steep, rocky climb of about 430 metres, so a reasonable fitness level is needed. Guests under the influence of alcohol or drugs may be refused. Wear clothing covering shoulders and knees for temples.
Transfer included: we pick you up at your hotel. We'll confirm the pickup time after you book.
