Rising from a seaside point in the north of Pattaya, the Sanctuary of Truth is regarded as the tallest wooden building in the world. Standing around 105 metres high, it has been assembled entirely without nails, and after decades of work it is still a work in progress.
The temple weaves together the religions, cultures and philosophies of Thailand, India, Cambodia and China. Its hand-carved sculptures tell the story of the universe through timeless ideas: the Sun, the Moon, the Earth, the Sky, the Stars, the Father and the Mother.
During your visit you can watch skilled craftsmen carving figures of people and animals from solid timber. It is an easy-going yet fascinating half-day outing that adds a cultural highlight to any Pattaya holiday.
Transfer included: we pick you up at your hotel. We'll confirm the pickup time after you book.
