Just 15-25 km from the beaches of Pattaya lies a quieter, more spiritual Thailand. This day trip strings together golden and white temples, lotus ponds and the giant Buddha image carved into the cliff of Khao Chi Chan.
The highlight is a ritual few visitors ever experience: the symbolic burial of bad luck, held in an active Buddhist temple and sealed with a blessing from the monks. Later you climb 200 steps to a Buddha footprint shrine, a traditional way of cleansing one's karma.
In between there is time for a tribal village, an elephant ride and a Thai-style lunch, making it a varied and relaxed day out.
The tour runs roughly from 08:00 to 15:30. Children under 3 join free. Guests under the influence of alcohol or drugs may be refused. Wear clothing that covers shoulders and knees for temple visits.
Transfer included: we pick you up at your hotel. We'll confirm the pickup time after you book.
